Just sitting here at work eating lunch and listening to the game….nothing better to get you through the day then hearing Uecker tell stories, Jim laughing and hopefully a sweep of the Braves. In honor of Ueck, Rumors and Rants has a post of the top 10 sports announcers in a movie….guess who’s number 1. [...]

So the ghost of Brett Favre strikes again. This time sportsdom is obsessing over his empty locker. Really?! Like Favre cursed it on his way out the door or something. I can think of a few guys who might benefit from sitting in the locker of a future Hall of Fame’r. Might have [...]

3-2 Crew win! Just got home in time to see the 8th & 9th inning. Nothing like taking the luster off of a win like having to listen to Davey Nelson stumble over his words in the post-game show. I have no doubt that he has a wealth of information somewhere up [...]

Am I the only one who thinks this next homestand could very well determine Ned’s future? Off day on June 5th. I personally would like to see him continue to manage, because that would mean the team is probably winning. I don’t mean that Ned SHOULD be fired if they have a [...]

Thankfully I didn’t end up at 3rd last night. Field correspondant and O’Callahans’ player/manager Tim Romanello has the report.
Explosive!
SHEBOYGAN—They played American League-style softball at Wildwood on Thursday night to open the 2008 Summer Softball League and The Green Room brought enough offensive firepower to go toe-to-toe with O’Callahans’ Crushers. They just didn’t come up [...]

Honesty, isn’t this one day contract retiring stuff getting old?
No sweep. Again. The Brewers seem to manage to win the first two games of the series, just to drop the last. I’m grateful for the two wins, but why can’t WE ever seem to avoid a sweep with a game three win?
With [...]

Okay, so softball league starts tonight. I was informed today by the skipper that I would be manning the hot corner. *blink* I’m hoping that being on a team that’s in the bottom division of a 1-night a week league that it means I’ll be seeing a lot of “swinging bunts”…..somehow I [...]

I’m just gonna go ahead and throw this out there…..I’m responsible for the 2 game winning streak. No, really. I have the entire Fan-Giveaway Brewer Bobble head collection at home. At work I have a handful of extra that other people have given to me out of the kindness of whatever. [...]
