3-2 Crew win! Just got home in time to see the 8th & 9th inning. Nothing like taking the luster off of a win like having to listen to Davey Nelson stumble over his words in the post-game show. I have no doubt that he has a wealth of information somewhere up in his nogg’n but someone needs to by the guy a Tom-Tom in order to find it or maybe it was his time spent in Chicago.

Looks like Bush, after a little rocky start, put up some solid numbers. 7 innings, 6 hits, 2 earned runs, a walk and 3 strike outs. 92 pitches thrown 57 strikes….that’s just huge from him. 2 solo home runs were the only blemish. I’ll take that any day of the week and twice on Sunday for Bush.
Yost’s on now….”they compete, he battled, they stay in games…yada, yada, yada.” Wow, that’s really getting old, though these reports asking the same question thirteen different ways doesn’t help either.
Nice to see Bill Hall shut his mouth and show it on the field. Brilliant effort after the typical silly looking swing on an inside pitch. Sounds like he stole third all on his own which is nice to see. Maple bat’s have been a big deal lately and Hall shattered one on his bloop single. They seem to be shattering those things multiple time per game. Someone’s gonna get hurt…
Just looking over the box score here and can’t believe that we only had one walk and it was by Branyan.
Both of JJ’s RBI’s came up the middle. 3 for 4 and taking the ball back up the middle, I’m hoping that means good things to come from him.
Oh and by the way Braun just continues to rake. He takes a day off of jacking home runs in to work on his average. 3-4 and up to .290
